- Live Location Coordinates: When you execute the "Locate Me" command, the application reads your temporary latitude/longitude vectors using your browser's native Geolocation API. This variable remains local, operates within client-side memory, and is never logged onto our primary databases.
- Submission Assets: Any metadata entered inside our structural entry forms (including event titles, descriptions, landmarks, organizer handles, and uploaded handbill images) is securely preserved on cloud database engines to facilitate display across the public UI mapping directory.
2. Log Files
Like many other web applications, Dansal.lk makes use of standard server log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and the number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
3. Cookies and Third-Party Advertising
To keep Dansal.lk a free utility for everyone and support our server infrastructure, we use third-party advertising companies, specifically Google AdSense, to serve ads when you visit our website.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to Dansal.lk or other websites.

Please verify that your uploads do not include unwanted personal metadata (like embedded EXIF geolocation metrics) before completing submissions.

Our mapping pipeline references the official external script dependencies below. These integrations operate according to their respective enterprise standard privacy definitions:

- Unpkg Content Delivery Network (MarkerClusterer dependency distribution)
6. Your Rights and Removal Appeals
If you discover an invalid pin layout, or if an image containing private content has been uploaded without authorization, please submit a deletion request immediately to support@dansal.lk. The Ceynode maintenance team will clear the entry from the database promptly.
